The Rotaract Club of Iligan
Community. Camaraderie. Service. The Rotaract Club of Iligan brings together people aged 18 and older who want to serve their city, sharpen their leadership, and build friendships that outlast any single project. We are chartered under Rotary International District 3870 and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Iligan.
Our members plan and run their own projects and manage their own funds, with the Rotary Club of Iligan as a partner in service. In eight years we have delivered school supplies and classroom upgrades, wheelchairs for children with Cerebral Palsy, tree planting inside Mt. Apo Natural Park, and the city's longest-running showcase of precision and discipline, the Iligan Silent Drill Competition.

What is Rotaract?
Rotaract clubs bring together people aged 18 and older to trade ideas with community leaders, build leadership and professional skills, and enjoy themselves while doing service. Members decide how to organise and run their own clubs, manage their own funds, and plan and carry out their own activities and service projects. Rotary club sponsors offer guidance and work alongside the club as partners in service.
Around the world, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side, from large cities to rural villages. In Iligan City, that partnership means our club and the Rotary Club of Iligan run projects together and share the same commitment to service above self.
Common questions
Anyone aged 18 and above. You do not need to be related to a Rotarian or enrolled at a particular school. Students and young professionals are equally welcome.
District 3870 covers Rotary and Rotaract clubs across northern and central Mindanao. Our club takes part in district seminars, training and joint service projects throughout the Rotary year.
Rotaract clubs are made up of younger members and run themselves independently, including their own funds and projects. Rotary clubs sponsor and mentor them, and the two often serve together.
Members pay modest club dues that fund operations and projects. Ask the secretariat for the current schedule of fees during the orientation seminar.
